with the new design, you can’t see anywhere when you last watched the movie. Only when you’ve watched something twice can you see that by scrolling further down.
I liked using the “last seen” display when I wanted to watch a movie from my library again - I opened several movie pages and then looked to see which one I hadn’t watched in the longest time. Can you please put that back in?
The new symbols don’t make sense to me either. If a movie has never been seen, a white check mark is displayed; if it has already been seen, the check mark is purple. This is extremely counterintuitive - a check mark symbolizes something that has been completed.
Another significant issue is the layout of the action buttons on the page. I have a 21:9 display:
- Home button at the top left
- Various unlabeled icons in the middle left
- The link to your own page at the bottom left
- after clicking, the settings appear at the top left
- Support and the forum at the bottom right
- For lists, the filter function is at the top right.
I can’t think of any app or page that is even more difficult to use. Usually, all the important links are at the top or bottom, not scattered across the screen.
The longer I look at the new design, the more dissatisfied I become. You have also taken away my ability to export my data as a CSV file. I used that feature regularly.
In addition, on the recommendations page, for example, you can no longer filter by whether you have something in your own library or not. I liked using that feature to quickly find unknown movies, etc.
EDIT: I have found a way to use the old design, so the next section is no longer valid. But please add a button at the top left of the new design so that users can switch back to the old design.
Summary
The site has become completely useless to me! I am canceling my VIP membership and request that my annual subscription be terminated immediately and that I be credited for the unused time.

However, I would also like to note that I really like the new search function - it works much better than the old one. It’s also great that the names of movies and series are now displayed in other languages. That’s very helpful here in Germany. Thank you for that.
