For me webhook is fine just cannot connect I think due to docker container being first in servers list
Your server can connect ok. I just ran the sync manually and it worked. It did take quite a while, so my guess is it might be timing out (either on the Trakt side or after querying your server directly so much). I’ll need to look into that more.
It seems the webhook must still be configured, there really isn’t any other way of us receiving data from the webhook on it’s own. It must be enabled and come from your Plex account.
We allow 443, it just appears your server is not reachable using any of the Plex urls they are giving us.
That error is related to the Plex webhook and not Plex sync, which this thread is about. I’d recommend removing all the webbhook settings, then following the install steps again. And also restart Plex media server after the reset and re-add of the webhook. If you’re still having issues, please open a private support ticket.
Hello Justin, it seems although i can connect fine nothing syncs and nothing happens when i manually queue an all data sync. Can you check please what could be the problem? I also tried to reconnect several times. Maybe it is also timing out as you said in a message earlier?
So even though it says 32400 its actually checking all the 443 ones that are in the list?
I can confirm I can access my server externally without issue full tls and valid certificates from letsenvrypt
I think it’s getting a challenge page (cloudflare?) when trying to access the 443 url, so it’s assuming the server is not reachable. Still looking if there is a way around this.
Plex watchlist sync is now available! This will add unwatched items from your Plex watchlist to your Trakt watchlist.
I just added syncing FROM plex, but not TO plex yet. Planning to look into that this week though.
It seems like you have all the Plex Sync options disabled at the bottom the settings page. You’ll need to enable some of those options and save the page, then it should work. I manually synced and it picked up the new watchlist items so in general the sync should be working for you.
It seems i am quite an idiot, i thought those applied only for the webhook, didn’t notice the second column saying Plex Sync
Really sorry for bothering you…you are doing a great job, thank you for this feature!
That’s it basically, but for now the bigger issue is that there hasn’t been a sync in over 10 days, despite everything looking good from the connection standpoint.
There also isn’t any logs to dig deeper as to why there might be no sync, maybe something fellow nerds would appreciate as well together with a technical log of what happened under the hood…
@justin can you check the PM please.
Thanks
yes I use cloudflare with zero trust and proper certs etc.
Hello, I’ve followed the instructions however my server never syncs, no errors. I can queue again and it just shows “queued”.
Same thing that’s been the case for me since day 1.
Port is open, everything connectable/green within Plex, zero emails from Trakt referencing a setup issue, and or errors showing at any time on the Plex Sync page
Plex sync for multiple servers is now supported. I recommend visiting your Plex sync settings page, reviewing the settings, then save to make sure everything is configured correctly.
@nydubber Please review and save your Plex settings. From what I see, Trakt emailed you on July 10 indicating there was a server issue and we couldn’t connect. With the new multi server options, saving your settings will get a new format and I’ll be curious if it works for you now.
@SimonOwO Similar suggestion, please review and re-save your Plex settings.
I have followed your steps and still can’t see any synced data
