Just canceled. Sad because I love Trakt and would like to support. Doubling the price is wild though. Don’t think I’ve seen that before. Paying 60 a year is indefensible to my budget.

Just cancelled. You can’t double or in some cases quadruple pricing and expect people to just pay up. The only way to show them they’re crossing z line here is to cancel. I really don’t need any of their vip features and there are other services as well. Doubt if i’ll stay here at all. I don’t appreciate being treated like an ATM.

same, not that I have any illusion it will actually change anything, based on the responses here. Unfortunately, unless they lose more than 50% of subscribers they’ll make more money than they already do, so I doubt they’ll change anything. So today I will be researching alternatives, both online and self-hosted. 100% price hike is just insane.
30 was already kind of steep, but I wanted to support a neat service. There’s no reality in which it is worth 60, though. About to cancel.

Cant you click the < vote (or maybe it’s show vote on desktop) icon (it goes to results after voting) and then click undo vote. Or just change it?

No: I’m not using any “VIP” features, so my $30/year was basically a donation to support the team. If that’s not worthwhile to them, guess I’ll cancel.

Apologies to Trakt which I enjoy as an entertainment service but I can’t just justify it at double the price.
There is a much more useful pro service at 78 a year that I don’t pay for, so I’m not paying for Trakt

After 7 years as a VIP I am out, 100% increase is unacceptable.
There are free trackers out there, I just joined one.

Hmm. Luckily my sub runs until jan and I do love the service so may consider it at the time ( only person to state that I think! )
It was enough to prompt me to turn off auto renewal though. If everyone did that then that should send trakt hq into a panic

A 100% price increase is a great way to show your appreciation trakt.
I was a VIP to support the site even tho I didn’t need any of the VIP features. A 100% price increase is unacceptable.
Canceled my VIP and am looking for alternatives.
