I have unfortunately seen TVDB act much worse.

I usually avoid conversations like this if I can but I feel your pain and I have seen similar issues as well. Including moderators on TVDB being downright abusive to others at times. Even if everyone is agreeing there is issue with content and the only ones that disagree is the moderators, they will just ignore you. Even with tons of official sources.
