Due to remaining issues with v4 API the process has been delayed they say without giving an official statement. The cutoff will happen eventually, though.

TVDB wrote in their newsletter that the old APIs “will not be deprecated until we feel that the development community has had sufficient time to migrate over to v4. However, these legacy APIs will be turned off in the first half of 2022“

from April they went to October and now 2022. Does that strike as “weird” or is it just me ?

It’s weird, but it’s on brand for TVDB. They aren’t on time for anything.

I like the new report option on the show. Since opening a ticket about missing metadata like posters or episodes needs to complete some more fields and the button on the show is more immediate.
But is the “missing metadata” the option to select saying that this show after numerous refresh, still is missing all the episodes ?
Does it need a “missing episodes/images” selection as well ?

S03E02+ have only been added today Family Business S3E2 (2021) - Changes — The Movie Database (TMDB) so it can take up to 8 hours until they appear in API on TMDB.
I think the metadata option is primarily for showtimes, wrongly linked tvdb/tmdb ids, etc.

I was wondering why the new Whose Line episodes weren’t showing up on trakt under this listing:
(this listing is the reboot seasons only, as TMDB does it)
and it said it had not refreshed its data since April 16th! I told it to manually refresh, but aren’t shows supposed to refresh themselves automatically? The data was already available on TMDB for at least the last few days I believe.
I’ve update “De Columbus” on TMDB yesterday, but still no update in comparison. A refresh from TVDB is possible (done so), but not one for TMDB. How to compare then?
I have a similar problem. Source is TVDB, but latest update is on TMDB. So Season 11 of Asphalt Cowboys is still not available on trakt.
I’ve updated TMDB and TVDB, and then did the compare. If it’s 100%, you’re able to move it to use TMDB.
Does “other” not do it for you 
I migrated this show over to TMDB, it’s refreshing now.
That is weird, is the show updating now? I fix a few bugs recently that might have affected some shows from getting updated as regularly as they should have been.

Well it refreshed manually when I told it to on October 11th, but doesn’t seem to have refreshed automatically since then. There is info for the fourth episode of the current season on TMDB, but not on trakt.
There was a duplicate listing with the same ID that has now been deleted. This should fix the auto-update. Send a help ticket or flag the listing from the left sidebar.
Sooo any update on this? It’s almost July and still no cutoff.
what update do you mean ? there isn’t one as far as trakt.
tmdb is now used so this does not affect the site
When is trakt going to get cut off from TVDB entirely? I can still refresh data for shows that use it.
