So, you decided that you’d rather get no money at all instead of some? I mean, you pissed a lot of people off who then proceeded to cancel their subscriptions entirely. The entire post reads exactly like typical MBA bull, but in the real world some money is better than no money.
This bit shows just how incompetent you are: you first announce a massive price hike for everyone and only after everyone’s already pissed off, you scramble in panic to try and promise that people will get something in return for their money. It reads like you were completely unprepared and the backlash came totally out-of-the-blue for you, when anyone with even a tiny bit of common sense could’ve told you that’d happen.
Also, did you notice that you are contradicting yourself? First you said that the price increase is because it’s so much more expensive to run the service, but…now you’re promising to spend even more money on new features and partnerships? The latter is mutually exclusive with the former, the price increase can’t be because running the service is so much more expensive now if you then go and spend the increase in revenue on new stuff and partnerships.
