I got it to try because everyone keeps talking about it… Already cancelled it because it’s not what I’m looking for.
- Only thing I liked was the simplified watch history lists… But I wish there was a way to join them all together.
I’m picky and I honestly like Trakt better… I just might not be VIP once my current subscription is up.
But… To each their own.

i feel you on simkl. ive created an account and deleted it two times before keeping this third account for now. im using it just to use it, but trakt is my source of truth

Just be careful using the link.
Don’t try to create a new account, or refer yourself to get it half price.

I need API for lists, and I won’t pay 60/year. So will use trakt free once the 15 to 30$ subscription expires.
Since I was in the beta tester program, I received 50% off. No referrals needed.

so great, as i said multiple times you just paid 2,5$ shorten than trakt. Do people not get that ?
The difference might be that “sahara” bought Lifetime VIP; so $75 to Simkl just once, instead of $60 to Trakt every year.
(I do wonder how long Simkl can be profitable like this, but they did mention increasing Lifetime VIP prices in the near future)

also check the screenshot. But again i have said you can guarantee the lifetime on a site that now it is just getting users from trakt. So if trakt failed to honour the grandfather why not think or believe another site, smaller and less will not do the same as soon as they smell the money.
How do you conclude she/he didn’t?
(If they paid $75 that’s almost $149 divided by 2; not 2 x $34.99)
sorry confused, the screenshot , the post is pretty specific. it says VIP, the 75$ is for VIP and NOT for lifetime subscription, and he says VIP
I’m pretty sure that text is also displayed for people with “VIP Lifetime”…
(the part below, which is not in the screenshot, would give a definite answer)

I have been Trakt vip member since 2017.
Can’t stand they’re increasing the subscription charges. Just cancelled the renewal due at August.

What a long two weeks this has been. I stayed quiet, waiting for more in that time - but nothing. My renewal comes up on 21 June. I’ll let it lapse, thanks.
