And how to get it?

You mean when it appears on some profiles?
When users don’t add a ‘Location’ in their profiles, ithe system shows ’ Omicron Persei 8’.
It’s a reference of Futurama, it’s a planet in their universe. Just like the avatar of the users who didn’t add a picture is a silhouette of Futurama characters.

I was also wondering about this.

However, in my case I saw “Omicron Persei 0” (instead of 8, as mentioned in this thread).

I believe the number/symbol is not part of the location, but the gender?

Hmm, I have only seen 8. I changed my settings just to test it and with any genders it showed 8.
Maybe the one you saw was from an user who actually added that on purpose.
