My dashboard and profile are showing 3 more plays than it should. I have marked 1 play on everything I’ve watched, yet Trakt is showing a discordance in this. After checking, none of my episodes and movies shows more than 1. I don’t think this is normal behavior. Any help?

I think I heard this before and that it’s plays of content that has been hidden/deleted.
Perhaps Sonply or Justin can confirm.
Oh for the episodes I do see three Smurfs episodes with two plays in your history;
My guess is that those specials were also added as movies in the past on tmdb and thus on trakt and have since been merged with the specials. Perhaps those deleted/hidden movies are also the three messing up the movie plays. But that’s just a guess.
Ouch yes, I didn’t notice the smurfs doubled plays. Those are fixed now.

Yes, this happens to me now and then.
Each time with a different series.
This might happen because some episode of a show you watched has been merged with another episode of that show, and because of that, you end up with a duplicate play of it.
Sometimes TMDB listed the show with the episodes split into 2 parts, and then they combine those episodes because the listing was incorrect. To avoid losing user’s data, we merge them here when an user reports.
