Hi, you specifically asked
- What is the one thing you are missing the most?
Well, itâs the progress page users/myusername/progress that is most essential to me.
Disabling v2 before v3 has one would render trakt.tv useless to me.
- Which feature you really need in the New Trakt?
As I said, the progress page. I almost donât use anything else.
It shows me the last 50 shows from which I watched an episode. (One click for 50 more shows.)
With one click on a show it displays a checkmark or an X for every episode on every season of a show.
It also shows how many episodes each season has. It expands the show inline on that page to show the seasons and the episode checks, which is perfect.
- Why it matters to your experience?
Itâs my history. My progress. On one page. Without scrolling. I can see whatâs available for me to complete a season. It helps me to decide what to watch next.
Additionally, it shows me the date when the next episode to watch aired or will air. And it tells when I last watched an episode of that show.
There is more than 12 years record of me with 3500 episodes watched. I totally rely on this progress page.
- How you would like to see it work or be improved?
Donât âimproveâ things. You donât know how users map their workflow to your features. Changing features breaks peopleâs workflows. Itâs always a bad idea. Unless youâve asked the users. So if you really ask: Drop v3. Itâs beyond saving. Or at least keep v2 permanently and allow users to switch back.
- Whether it is a big workflow blocker or a small detail you use daily, we want to hear it.
Well, disable v2 before thereâs an identical progress page on v3, and Iâm gone. And I really really really donât want to be gone.
I was horrified when users/myusername suddenly defaulted to v3 with no switch back. Fortunately using the progress page users/myusername/progress as an entry point gave me v2 back. (An AI told me that! I had to use an AI to be able to continue using trakt.tv!) Please tell me the progress view is going to stay.
Iâd even become VIP just to permanently keep v2. Maybe you should offer that. (I mean, seriously.)
