I think as a work around (and backup) for the time being I am going to duplicate my Library into a new list. At least that way I’ll have a backup for when they inevitably pull the plug on it which seems to be their game plan.
Not happening. Library will be back. I’m sad and afraid about Trakt’s future as well, but take a step back and don’t let emotion take over.

The Library (things you own a digital or physical version of) will be available soon. We are currently working on it.
We are looking at ways to improve the mark as collected. We want to make sure users mark real collected items and not use the Library as another list.
You have far more confidence in a company that has reneged on promises multiple times over the past year and believing this time they are telling the truth than I do.

Nah, the comments I just posted clearly show them not ignoring it. And damn I would get tired of responding too if it was mainly attacks not constructive criticism anymore. But they’ve said time and time again that they will bring back the features. Was the transition too early? Probably yes. But stuff will come back.
You’ve cherry picked responses. One of those was to one of my questions in fact. And that was weeks (months?) ago.
There’s been very little addressed by anyone from Trakt to questions about what changes they anticipate making. Why? If they have different plans for the erstwhile Collection now renamed Library what is so damned secretive they can’t address it so people can see whether it is something they wish to continue to see evolve?
Can you say which post this was from? Naively hoping for context that will change the meaning of this since I will likely have to leave Trakt if I can’t see/rate by season. I don’t love the new layout, but this is the biggest functionality loss for me personally.

Regarding seasonal ratings:
I have not cherry picked responses lol. Seomeone didn’t believe that the Library was coming back, so I showed evidence against that.
The trouble is with “we’ll see” is that they are taking our money for a now inferior product and with NO guarantee that anything will come back.
So why would stuff not be coming back? Look at the issues over on their GitHub and you’ll see the bare minimum of what’s coming back. GitHub · Where software is built
While I agree that it was too early to make that switch to v3, why would they not bring back stuff? They’re clearly working on it if you follow the repository.

Plus your constant referral to GitHub which is totally irrelevant to this discussion. None of what we are talking about or in fact that people are upset over is open source. Then stop crying please. You seem to be quite emotionally connected with Trakt, and then you say you don’t give a f* about anything that’s happening on what literally is their development site. Ok buddy. Every change is documented there and discussions happen over there and you can sort of see their roadmap. Multiple reasons to care
You can absolutely discuss the platform here. You just cannot expect employees answering each and every thread here.

I loved Trakt for years now, it this new app really really sucks. It’s so confusing, last version was so clear and easy to use. Hope they change it back or make it way less confusing or else I might need to look for a alternative. And I really would hate that 
Jumping in just to ask—got a new update and now I can’t change the bottom tab bar sections anymore? It defaulted to “Home”, “Discover”, “Lists”…these are useless to me, I liked having a tab for my history, my “continue watching”…what is happening?!
Same here, I don’t care for discover. Need the custom bar options back for watching, history and watchlist
Truly, why would they REMOVE a customization feature?!
I second this. I like having quick access to certain parts of the app and don’t use Discover this way.
