Wrong Show is Scrobbled

Hi,
In Kodi i have the Trakt Scrobble (v.2.3.5), i do not use it often, but today i notice that for a show it scrobbles the wrong Show.

The naming is Departure 1x01, when i play the file it scrobbles but it scrobbles from this show which is wrong: https://trakt.tv/shows/departure-2019
The correct one is: Departure - Trakt

My settings (i changed i bit the fallback and alternate search but to no avail) :

The obvious fix will be to have the (2019) added in the name but that again will go to the wrong show.

How to make it point to the correct show ? That the filename should be ? Can i contain a traktid or something.

Thanks

I just took a look at the incorrect one and it is actually a duplicate on Trakt, it has been deleted on TVDB. It just needs to be deleted here.

Yes i know that it has to be deleted it, duplicate shows are always going to be on trakt so my question is if on the filename i can add something like the traktid, or tvdbid that will make the scrobble goes to the correct show.

Yeah I just wanted to throw that out there to get the current incorrect scrobbling fixed for you, so the underlying problem could then be addressed. Which would be as you mentioned, a way to point to the right show/movie.

i don’t know if @justin has an idea about this or i maybe have to open a ticket to the github of trakt scrobbler.

(btw, the show is the definition of a lockdown show  )

Yeah, it looks good — I added it to my watch list. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you create an nfo for the file, you should be able to change the tvdb id/tmdb id (depends on which scraper your using) in that nfo file

:man_facepalming: Why did I not think to suggest that? :fist_right: :fist_left:

In case you need it here is some documentation about nfo files from the kodi wiki.
https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files

If you go here :point_right: https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/TV_shows#nfo_Tags
and scroll to the tag named “uniqueid type” there is more problem specific info.

Thank you both. I had in mind the .nfo files but you know, too bored to deal with it

I will try and test it with fake files as i finished the show now

So…that was a bust

Anymore ideas ? I wonder @justin , is there a solution or this has to do with the add-on and github ?
