In my case am having problem conecthing it to Netflix it says select profiles and then caput back to sign on page.
Could be possible to sync with letterboxd and Myanimelist ?
or VLC?
I usually watch things at the cinema or at some of my friends’ so I need other options for sync things.
Maybe look at third party applications. Those aren’t streaming content providers.
I love this new feature but I’m also finding that my plays aren’t syncing. Hoping they will come in time otherwise it’s back to manual syncing again ![]()
Well I can safely say all of the streaming services I use that Trakt supports is syncing properly! That’s Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, and Netflix.
Just for the record:
Data syncing with Prime Video is no longer working.
A few days ago I watched season 1 of the series Nautilus on Prime Video.
Up until now, the last sync with Prime Video was on December 6th.
Yeah, I signed in to Prime for my first sync on 8 Dec and it still hasn’t synced. Pressing the sync button doesn’t do anything.
Sync does not work for me. I have configured Netflix and prime video to sync only new plays. But the last sync date is Dec 6. Also pressing the manual "sync button does not work ![]()
Apple TV+ syncs without issue for me and will also not show a Profile as you can’t create one for their service.
Try playing an exclusive TV+ content. Something short like A Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving or A Charlie Browns Christmas. Then go to the Scrobblers page and manually Sync with that Sync button on the right.
Curious to know if a manual sync will at least work for you. Mine worked for both manual button sync and waiting for the automatic sync to go through.
I was just as concerned about this login, since Bitwarden doesn’t recognize that the page being displayed is actually coming from Netflix.
I went ahead and tried it, and after I logged in inside the Trakt app, I got 4 new devices in my Netflix profile. 1 from the Android Browser (I’m assuming the app) and 3 from Desktop Chrome Browsers (I’m assuming Younify
I then logged all 4 of them out from Netflix and went back to the Trakt app. I clicked “Sign In” again next to Netflix and my username was already populated. I clicked my email address AND MY PASSWORD FILLED IN! While I did mention I have Bitwarden installed, I did NOT link my Netflix account with the Trakt app, and I did NOT click the button to let Bitwarden fill in the credentials for this form.
JUST to be absolutely sure it wasn’t Bitwarden. I changed my Netflix password and tried the process again in Trakt. The password Younify autofilled was abosolutely my previous password and not my current one.
Younify is clearly saving usernames and passwords (as per the original Privacy Notice). They are shady as all get up, and I can’t believe Trakt would partner with this company without investigating further. There is absolutely no way I’d link Amazon to this company, and have mystery packages sent who knows where.
Thank you everyone for being paranoid, or I would have simply trusted that Trakt had our best interests at heart.
Same problem here. I’ve watched several episodes of Pop Culture Jeopardy on Amazon Prime and even after waiting 24 hours, and manually requesting a sync, I don’t see any watches coming from Amazon Prime.
I also chose not to sync any past history.
Was worth a shot seeing is that was what I did. I would say to email Trakt’s support team and hopefully they can resolve this issue so that everyone can get this working properly!
I notice that when it comes to Amazon Prime, it ignores anything that was already marked on Trakt as having been seen before. No 2nd or more viewings of the same episode or movie.
Welcome back to the forum
Is this solved?
Nope. I also notice that the only service updating is Hulu. My Neflix and AppleTV+ have not synced again since the initial sync almost a week ago.
Can you try contact support?
Prime not syncing at all, Netflix just once and only 1 ep, days ago, is this working at all? Im not manually syncing netflix/prime to avoid dups but im not getting track of anything at this point.
@19097_Media You could try contact support on THIS LINK
I’ve tried syncing Netflix using two different Android devices (both running the latest firmware and updates), but the process doesn’t seem to work correctly. It signs in initially, then behaves oddly and fails to link the accounts.
After the first sign-in attempt, it prompts me to sign in again but also displays the option to manage the account. However, if I exit and re-enter the app, the manage account option disappears, and it asks me to sign in again. It seems like this issue is specific to Android, as I’ve seen posts from iOS users reporting successful account linking.
Can you provide any insights into this bug?
