Yamtrack is one
I’m sure trakt leadership will brush all these posts off as a “vocal minority” but want to add my voice to this as well. The new UI is awful, features that were on the old Trakt now no longer work (i.e. Lists), or are more difficult to use (i.e. can’t see how to drop shows from upcoming schedule, and star ratings) .
I cancelled VIP last month and won’t be coming back unless these changes are reverted.
Horrible, horrible UI/UX 
I have been using trakt for many years now, but if trakt stays like this, i am gone!
Just wanted to add my 2 cents…
With the new v3 I cannot:
- view my progress neatly for all shows, season by season (which is how I watch shows personally)
- easily switch from an episode to the previous/next one
- see my ratings and rate episodes in the recent history (which is how I rated most episodes)
- see all the episodes in a season of a show
- see the genre breakdown of the last 30 days
All the above features I used multiple times a week.
If the classic version becomes unavailabe and those features aren’t restored, I will definitely cancel my VIP subscription.
im thinking about cancelling my VIP. they stripped so many features but still expect the same price? yeah right
My flabber is well and truly ghasted.
Where’s the progress page?
Where’s my “up Next” list, to tell me which shows I haven’t finished?
Why have we got children’s rounded corners everywhere? Horrible.
As for reasoning: They said it’s mainly because they have so much tech burden with v2 that they cannot really develop it further properly. As well for unified experiences across all devices.
They don’t brush this off, and they’re fully aware that v3 is not even close to being finished. They’ve mentioned that on multiple accounts.
(don’t ask me why they pushed it then, that’s not my decision, but they are aware of stuff)
Thank you for this thread. I was just now the first time in forums and wanted to ask for some VIP experiences because I was struggling if VIP is worth buying it. After reading this thread and the fact they are not listening to the community I will not get VIP.
I am happy with the current (classic) trakt and now I am afraid of V3.
PS (OT): Plus, the fact that app.trakt.tv was down for a while two days ago and the status history doesn’t show any problems this time doesn’t seem transparent enough to me.
My eco system is Sonarr/Radarr, so Overseerr has some parts that are “decent” enough for change. Like a good discovery system that actually filters between Shows and Movies, and an easy way to add a show or movie to my sonarr/radarr instances.
Lol I tried that site for 10 minutes but it’s so I don’t know not trakt like lol.

For how long, until they destroy that. It’s obvious they are not listening to their paying members.
The logo button in the top-left takes you back to the v2 dashboard again.

The new design is absolutely awful and just plain ugly. I’ve been using trakt for the last 10 year and it is one of my favorite and most used web apps. I’m begging you to please keep the old design.
The price has doubled.
Can someone please tell me how to revert to the previous version? I have searched and found no way to do that.
