oh boy, made the mistake of clicking on the ‘new’ to try out the new site.. which kicked me to a login screen so had to recall what email i used vs just loging in with normal pw manager of account info. ok submit email get magic link… wham takes me to the new screen with login and asks me to sign up for free. click login, go through hurdle again.. same thing. just will not let me login with the new site. clear cookies, go back to old site..try to login.. now it forces me to try new site only. so now im just fed up with this.

All features i use in ios app is missing or hidden. The worst update i ever seen in my Life. Close to 7 years of vip. I have canceled.

What the hell have you done to the app. The trakt.tv app is now unusable and I mean that literally. The calendar, history and up next sections looks like it was thrown against a wall and the result is one big messy mixture of chaos. Way to ruin your own app.

Has there been any official word on this? The lack of communication from the Trakt team is quite concerning tbh. Are they just sticking their heads in the sand?

We spent months giving detailed feedback and bug reports of V3 when it was still in beta and they stopped replying, ignored all of it and pushed it as it is without any changes.
The chances of them responding is slim and the chances of them reverting the mess they’ve created is zero.

Totally agree - trakt used to be my “go to” resource for film intelligence. I just came on here to discover that you have destroyed an excellent site. It is now impossible!
My Cinema Cleveland! group will never be the same without this resource.

long time user. I will not be renewing my trakt. I’m a professional dev and i’d never have done any of this in the way you all did. Shameful in my opinion. After the doubling of VIP fees and then this v3 crap, you’ve lost me. I know you all dont care but that’s my 2 cents.

I actually just vibe coded my own very slim version, and keep it on my home network.
tvmaze as source, progress bars, plex sync, discover.
I use trakt primarily because it allows you to rate individual seasons, unlike IMDB. IMDB allows you individually rate episodes and also entire series, but not seasons. This was what kept me rating things on trakt.
Correct me if I’m wrong but it appears this feature has been removed? Please say it ain’t so!
