@durmonator can you send a more complete screenshot that displays the items before and after these 2 items? And also have it include your profile name too if possible. Basically a full screenshot of the Netflix history page.
@justin I have trouble using the sync feature. It works with Netflix, but not with Max and Amazon Prime. According to Trakt all 3 services are syncing without error but watched content on Max and Amazon Prime is not synced with Trakt.
I reconnected Max but that made no difference. I made sure that I watched content after setting up the sync, choosing to sync only new data.
Here is a screenshot from Trakt, showing Netflix is syncing:
And here is a screenshot from Prime Video showing 3 episodes I watched on Jan 10th, but weren’t synced:
HBO Max unfortunately doesn’t have a history feature, so I can’t provide a screenshot for that.
Can you, or anyone else help me? I know this is a beta feature, but I’m just trying to be helpful.
I just noticed that the rate sync is a problem with Netflix.
On Netflix, you have the option to rate things with ,
or
- when syncing these shows, you automatically get them rated on Trakt with 3, 7 or 10 stars. This is - IMHO - not what I intend with the Netflix ratings. I use them solely to enable Netflix to better recommend other content. The thumb rating should not go into a Trakt rating, because it’s misleading.
I would second the request for making the sync of ratings optional.
Younify is looking into a solution for this, but a fix is probably months away. It will be complex to adjust the site based on region, while still making sure to capture accurate watched history.
That is the best we can do to try and match the ratings. Having an option to disable ratings sync sounds like a good idea though.
Is Netflix not syncing at the moment? Watched 2 different shows and neither have synced!
Shows synced on the Trakt page but nothing in the data syncs!
I tried disconnecting and reconnecting just in case but still the same
I have a rating for Dan Da Dan which keeps reimporting itself from Netflix but not appearing in the data sync grid to be able to undo it (and keep it undone)
I’ve undone the import which initially imported it, I have removed and re-added my Netflix account ignoring all pre-existing data and have manually removed the rating from the show.
Without fail the next sync for Netflix brings this rating back, it’s kinda driving me insane as I deliberately don’t rate anything on Trakt.
As a side note I’ve also removed the rating on Netflix and it’s still being pulled through, but iirc it was mentioned above that’s expected from Younify (it’s silly imo, but it is what it is)
Hulu always broke but I used to be able to log in and fix the scrobbler connection.
Now it makes me do a 6-digit code to my email and then just sits on the page and loads. So Hulu is currently “unfixable” and I can’t log in no matter what I do to reconnect.
100% agree. Would like option to disable. I end up just waiting until the sync happens to hit the thumbs up/down.
I tried connecting my Hulu and Netflix account, but after logging into hulu account, as soon as the page for profile selection pops up it immediately closes the page and brings me back to the “Streaming Scrobbler” overview in the trakt app and next to the hulu logo it shows the “Sign In” button again. My netflix account works just fine.
For anyone on Android with problems signing into services, please install the latest beta 1.8.4 (147)
. Please let me know if this version allows your services to connect properly.
Hi, I just tried to connect to Netflix (using the 1.8.4 (147)
version) and the process aborts right after the “Select your preferred profile” message. After that, the Trakt settings look like the process when never started.
Netflix seems to register the new logged-in device properly.
I tried both with a password login and a one-time code login that Netflix offers.
Can you send us the logs? When on the streaming scrobbler settings in app, and after the sign in fails, click the three dots in the top right and you should be able to copy the logs.
Apparently I did not have the latest app. I can now sign into my streaming services without using the app on my computer.
Thank you for the notification to check for the app update.
Here are the logs. I’m also attaching a screenshot showing that the device was indeed assigned to my Netflix account after the log in.

Thank you! If possible, can you also post a screen recording of the whole process just so we can have accurate steps to reproduce. If you prefer to send the video privately, you can private message @support as well.
I love the streaming scrobblers…it’s why I upgraded to VIP! I have both an Android device and an iPhone. I needed to use the iPhone to get Netflix fully synced but everything else worked great on my Android device. So glad I found Trakt. I’ve been using TV Time for years but it’s been falling apart lately. I was able to import my TV Time data and I’m up and running. Can’t wait for the Watchlist update to the Streaming Scrobblers! Speaking of…is there a way to import my watchlist info from TV Time? I have a pretty long list of things I want to get to some day. Thanks!!
So far this has been a pretty cool feature. I’m still a bit spotty about what gets recorded and doesn’t, however, one thing that would be super helpful and appreciated is if there’s a way to specify “All” when choosing which account to sync. For example, my kids created a “son” profile, “daughter” profile, “son and daughter profile” and “dad is a monkey” profile and they randomly choose which profile to use at any given time so the shows are all over the place. Syncing All would be very nice. Perhaps it can cycle through each one over the course of several syncs so that it doesn’t overload the syncing process…. If that’s a thing.
Hi Justin, I see the watched history in the sync section, but not in my main History. Is this correct?
BTW, great feature!!! Keep on rockin’.
Would love to see this for Crunchyroll if possible - thank you for the great site
